SAT prep course offered

For most upperclassmen, around this time of year the kids start taking or thinking about the SAT’s.  Harrisonburg High School has been offering a SAT Prep course for the last few years and will continue with it this year.

On Saturday, April 17th the class will start.  If you have paid the 135 dollars for the class you can join in on the fun.  Mrs. Powers will be starting up the class.  “We recommend the class for Juniors,” Powers said.  Along with this class you will get to learn a lot of skills that will help when you take the SAT’s.  “The kids will learn, test taking skills, critical reading skills and will also show them what types of questions will be on the real SAT’s,” Powers said.
